Dr. Veronika Gutema

I graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Debrecen in 2011. After graduation, I began my career at a leading private dental clinic in Budapest, where I treated both Hungarian and international patients. Later, I continued to gain experience in both public and private practices in Debrecen. In 2020, I started my postgraduate residency training in Endodontics at the University of Debrecen, where I developed extensive expertise in microscope-assisted root canal treatment.

As an endodontic specialist, I believe that preserving the natural tooth should always be the primary goal whenever possible. Working with an operating microscope allows me to perform treatments with exceptional precision by revealing details that cannot be seen with the naked eye. This makes it possible to preserve as much healthy tooth structure as possible, which plays a crucial role in the long-term survival of the tooth and the overall health of the dentition. For this reason, I also perform the preparation of fillings, veneers, crowns, and indirect restorations under microscopic magnification.

My professional interests also include highly aesthetic, lifelike restorations, digital smile design, and modern CAD/CAM dentistry. I always strive to achieve the best possible balance between function, durability, and aesthetics for every patient.

Creating a calm, safe, and welcoming environment is just as important to me as the technical aspects of treatment. I carefully explain every step of the procedure so my patients always know what to expect and understand why a particular treatment is recommended. I believe that mutual trust is the foundation of successful dental care – perhaps that is why many of my patients become so relaxed that they even fall asleep during treatment.

What motivates me most is delivering treatment of the highest quality and seeing the satisfaction and confidence of my patients afterwards. I regularly attend professional courses and continuing education programs to stay up to date with the latest techniques and scientific developments, allowing me to provide every patient with the most appropriate, personalised treatment.
