Ágnes Benedikti

I graduated from the Bárczi Gusztáv Faculty of Special Education at Eötvös Loránd University with a specialization in speech therapy. In my work, I place special focus on the therapy of tongue thrust swallowing, which is receiving increasing attention, especially in connection with orthodontic treatments.

In my experience, tongue thrust swallowing often stems from complex underlying causes, which is why I approach therapy with a holistic perspective. Orthodontic treatment can only be truly successful and long-lasting if we also address the underlying functional disorders – such as incorrect swallowing patterns. Without this, teeth can easily shift back, and the orthodontic process may need to be restarted.

My goal is to effectively support patients on this journey – whether they are children or adults. I believe that with the right cooperation, empathy, and professional dedication, we can achieve meaningful, long-term results. In my practice, I always strive to create a supportive, trust-based environment where we can work together to make the most out of each session.

I love seeing progress – the small but significant milestones – and I truly believe that speech therapy can work wonders at any age.
