How Is Bone Grafting Performed at Our Clinic?
1. Precise and Accurate Diagnostics
During the first appointment, we conduct a comprehensive assessment and take a CBCT scan to determine the type and extent of the bone deficiency. The examination assesses the shape, depth, width, and location of the affected area. Afterward, in a calm environment, focusing only on you, we discuss the results in detail and answer all your questions. After the consultation, you will have a clear understanding of which bone grafting technique and material are the safest and most effective for you.
2. Anesthesia
On a subsequent visit, the bone grafting procedure is performed. First, we review the surgical steps once more, explaining what will happen, in what order, and how long the procedure will take. Then, anesthesia is administered. We use a modern local anesthetic developed specifically for oral surgical procedures, which is four times stronger than traditional anesthetics. Many of our patients even doze off during the procedure, as they find the reclining position relaxing and experience no pain.

3. Pain-Free Bone Grafting
Once the anesthetic takes effect, we perform the procedure using the pre-planned surgical technique and bone grafting material. To ensure proper healing and integration, we place a special membrane over the grafted and native bone to protect and cover it. Finally, the gum tissue edges are sutured together. You will receive detailed post-operative instructions and a care package. The entire process takes 30-60-90 minutes.
4. Post-Surgical Follow-Up
Depending on the chosen bone grafting method, the healing period ranges from 3-6-9 months. During this period, in addition to suture removal and mandatory free follow-up visits, we remain available for any concerns and can schedule additional check-ups if needed. Furthermore, after completing your treatment plan, we provide a free semi-annual follow-up examination.
